This B&H Kit combines Impact's Mid-Range Boom Arm, Light Stand, and Casters to provide you with a complete, lightweight solution for your lighting applications. The boom arm extends from 26 - 60" in three sections and supports up to 5 lb at full extension. A counterweight sandbag with a matching 5 lb capacity is included. The light stand is air-cushioned and adjustable to up to 9.5 ft in height, and the casters securely attach on without tools, with a simple twist of thumbscrew wing nuts.

Its 26-60" from the hook for the counter balance, to the tip of the 5/8" stud.
This is not measured from the stand.
