Nikon MB-D18 Reviews
Nikon Quality...The Only Choice for a Battery Grip
I've used the MB-D12 with my D810 for nearly a decade, so when I purchased the D850 I would naturally look to the MB-D18 to complete my camera's foundational setup. I can use batteries from either camera, used batteries from the D5/D6, as well as use AA size batteries. The texture of the MB-D18 is perfect, with just the right amount of grip. The buttons are Nikon quality, firm and precise. For those considering this accessory, you'll soon discover that it's more essential than optional. I highly recommend this product, and the B&H buying experience.
Get A Grip
All my Nikon cameras have Nikon Grips installed. Not only do they extend your shooting time due to the extra battery(s) installed but it also gives me a firmer grip on my camera. Perfect for anyone with large hands.
