Carry your equipment in comfort and style with this ash Slide Camera Strap from Peak Design. This strap uses strong, removable anchor connectors that attach to the eyelets of your camera or the included mounting plate, holding up to 200 lb of gear and easily supporting most DSLR and mirrorless systems. By pairing this versatile connection with a long adjustable length from 39 to 57", the Slide can be configured to work as a sling, shoulder, or neck strap.

The strap has a width of 1.8" and is made of nylon webbing that is padded internally to help ensure comfortable use. Its two sides feature different properties: one side is smooth for sliding the camera to your eye when set up as a sling, while the other has a silicone grip that prevents slipping when using it on your neck or shoulder. The four included anchor points attach and detach from the strap with a single hand, and can be left on the eyelets so you can easily switch between cameras while shooting.

  • Wearable as a sling, shoulder, or neck strap
  • Adjustable length from 39 to 57", and a width of 1.8"
  • Removable anchors used to connect to equipment, hold up to 200 lb
  • Leave anchors on your gear so you can easily attach and detach them from the strap while shooting
  • Smooth and non-slip sides that allow you to choose the amount of grip desired
  • Internally-padded webbing provides improved comfort without being bulky
  • Four anchor connectors and a tripod plate are included with the product

SL-AS-3 Slide Camera Strap (Ash) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 29.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Liked the previous generation, love the new design I've been using the older -2 model for several years, and initially purchased this new model strap for use when carrying two cameras. The new strap is my favorite, better than any other strap I've ever used. I was happy with the old design (4 stars), but this new design has three significant improvements: 1) Beveled shape of new anchors, makes them easier to latch and unlatch one-handed. 2) Thinner cord on new anchors, allows me to thread them directly through the lugs on Sony camera bodies - eliminates the need for extra rings that came with the cameras (eliminates source of rattling noise which ruined some video recordings). 3) The new strap does not bunch up on my shoulder the way the old one sometimes does (improved rubber grip pattern). One note: I appreciated the Arca type camera mount which came with the older strap. The new strap comes instead with a small anchor for the bottom of camera (not compatible with any monopod or tripod head). The new anchor is more compact, but not useful when I am carrying a monopod and switching between hand held and monopod. I wish they included both mounts for the bottom of the camera.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable and secure strap Love this strap. It is comfortable, easy to adjust and very strong. The connector design is more secure than the typical quick disconnect found on many other straps and is easy to see that it is completely locked in place. Can't accidentally release and drop camera.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for heavy lens Purchased Peak Design camera strap and very happy with it. Not only does it provide dual support for larger lens but it stableizes the lens and keeps it from twisting as you walk. Very impressed with the strap and how it can be changed between cameras with ease. One of my best purchases!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It is a little bit expensive Satisfied with the quality, but haven't tested it on yet, as I hesitated when I tried to put it on. The current Nikon strap is definitely not good at all, which is the reason I purchased this one. But besides the original strap's problems I do like that I can easily put it together with my camera into a small bag, and I can (quite often) wrap the strap on my wrist. For this new one, the wide, long and thick shoulder part may not feel comfortable as it seems rigid (I understand the purpose of its design). Another concern is with the sling mode as I always have my quick release plate on and I don't know if I want to switch the plate from time to time. Removable anchor seems to be convenient but I don't think it is really useful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like it The strap looks good, is well made, and I am comfortable using the quick release connections. Using the tripod connection on the camera bottom now allows me to take portrait style images without having the strap in the way of my right hand, my eye and shutter button. Also the strap does not bring attention to the model of the camera.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall - A Nice Strap Nice update for this product. Strap material is similar to a seat belt. The non-slip portion is a nice thickness and not too firm. The Ash color is VERY nice and I think adds a little style versus the standard black. The redesigned anchors are easy to attach or move from one point on your camera to the other and my camera feels sturdy when connected to the strap. I use it with the Canon 80D and I am 5'10 and the strap length has a good range of adjustability for me.Overall the strap feels comfortable when it's on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "Changing My 2 Star Review to 5 STARS" (Review- Part 2) Okay, We're on our 18th Mayan expedition and I'm using the Slide Camera Strap SL-BK-3, (wearing-sling-style), in conjunction with the new Capture Version 3 on my belt and I no longer care about my initial concern about the strap's foam padding "hinging" or bending which occurred in the center of the neck area (see; my 2 Star review). It's turned out to be a very slight cosmetic issue and having folded it in the center, the hing works well for storage and does not affect comfort. The strap is VERY COMFORTABLE. We are scaling many tall, steep Mayan pyramids and this camera- carry combination is so stable, close, safe and tight, I AM LOVING IT for my Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mk 2 w/ Olympus 12-100 Pro lens, (a heavy but excellent combination for mirror-less). I keep a neoprene cap/cover on the lens end for added safety. Also, Peak Design has given me great support and back-up concerning my initial concern- above and beyond... So, delete my 2 Star Review, B&H. I'm sold on this 5 Star strap/clip combo and on Peak Design's, clean approach- product line. I look forward to collecting more of their products as I add to my new OM-D and 12-100mm Pro lens system. Thanks Peak Design and thanks, B&H Photo. BD

Rated 3 out of 5 by from ....okay but ??? This only my own assessment - I do not just have the confidence on those tiny little ( rope ) connection to hang my expensive camera. I know they are rated 200 lbs. loads and they probably can take more than that but no I do not want to take a chance. I also both the wider model which came with the same connector. I end up putting them both back in box and I don't think I'll ever use this strap/s.
