Designed to fit Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes (SCTs) with large 3.25" visual back threads, the Alpine Astronomical Baader 2" ClickLock Eyepiece Clamp is a unique eyepiece mounting system that is superior to conventional mountings. Unlike compression ring and set screw holders, the ClickLock system uses three long roller bearings to hold the eyepiece firmly centered in place without marking or marring it, while eliminating the wobble and off-axis tilt. A simple 20° twist locks and unlocks the clamping system for fast eyepiece changes even while wearing gloves. There is no need to fumble with small set screws or for using excessive force and torque to hold the eyepiece in a fixed position.

Well made. Fits perfectly on the Visual back (VB) of my SCT 1100 HD Edge. I bought it to be able to click lock my counter weight for my Hyperstar. The click lock lever is adjustable (rotational) to move it (the lever) to a location that avoids other things on, in, or near the optic train coming off or near the Visual back (like diagonals, cameras, eye pieces). I had a different roto lock on the VB and it failed after 2 years. We will see if this one stands the test of time.

Great addition. It allows me to rotate my diagonal so that the binoviewer is at an optimal position for observation. Holds everything securely. Highly recommended.
