It allows you to capture scratch audio to the camera while the iPhone records your tracks in broadcast quality. You can also use it with the Wireless GO's receiver to route audio in between the receiver and your camera. The cable features a 6.7 to 15.7", stretchable coiled design, which prevents clutter on your rig. The low-profile, right-angled connectors easily fit into tight spaces or hard-to-reach places. Great cable. Does exactly what it's supposed to do. I've never been disappointed with a single RODE product I've ever bought, especially their cables. Solid product. Worth the slight price bump, IMO.

This cable is the perfect lenght because it can stretch, yet if you don't need it to be long it will not hang down in the way of your lense because it stays coiled if needed to be short. High Quality cable.

Local storeshelves are drying up with needed items much like this patch cable. My hat is off to B&H Photo online supply. Their checkout process is painless and easy on my budget. Items are always packed securely and intact.

One of the best options for content makers who use microphones that are on top of cameras. It also provides flexibility when pulling or pulling. It is scientific and easy to store. It sends you the highest possible sound quality.

Does rode make a version that is not Coiled like the one that comes with rode videomic pro plus
Asked by: john
Hello John. Rode doesn't currently sell the straight, non-coiled version of the SC2 by itself. If yours is currently broken reach out to your Rode retailer for a replacement under the warranty. If you would like something similar, I have found this third party option, although it's longer: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1001074-REG/startech_mu1mms2ra_right_angle_3_5mm_to.html

Would this be ok with the Videomic Go II on a boom arm and connecting to the Sony ZV-E10?
Asked by: Miguel
Yes. The RODE SC2 Right-Angle 3.5mm TRS Coiled Patch Cable is compatible for use with the RODE VideoMic GO II and the Sony ZV-E10 Mirrorless Camera, however, you may need a longer cable if the mic is mounted on a boompole. You will probably want to use it together with an extension cable such as the RODE VC1 3.5mm TRS Microphone Extension Cable for Cameras - 10' (B&H # ROVC1) or the Pearstone 3.5mm Stereo Male to Female Extension Cable - 25' (B&H # PEMMSB125B).

Will this record into a macbook pro from the rode wireless go? I am trying to record to an application and want to use the rode go as the mic.
Asked by: Sandra
It works the same as any 1/8" audio cable, so if the software and computer hardware is set up for that, this cable should do the same job as any. But you might need an adapter for a mac input if they don't provide a regular audio jack, which would be typical for mac.

question

Is this compatible on the VIDEO MICRO for mirrorless camera?
Asked by: Wanderlust S.
The cable will connect. But the camera must offer plug-in power for the microphone to work.

Can I use this to plug my Zoom H1n to my camera?
Asked by: Di
Hello Di, I don't see any reason why not. You should be good as long as the camera has a standard 1/8" TRS 3.5mm input jack.
