Key Features
- Connects Recorder to DSLR or Camcorder
- 6.7 to 15.7" Coiled Cable
- 3.5mm TRS Male to 3.5mm TRS Male
- Works with Rode Wireless GO Receivers
The Rode SC2 is a right-angle, 3.5mm TRS male to 3.5mm TRS male patch cable. You can use it for connecting the headphone output of an iPhone—one equipped with an optional Rode iXY microphone—to the audio input of a DSLR or video camera. It allows you to capture scratch audio to the camera while the iPhone records your tracks in broadcast quality. You can also use it with the Wireless GO's receiver to route audio in between the receiver and your camera. The cable features a 6.7 to 15.7", stretchable coiled design, which prevents clutter on your rig. The low-profile, right-angled connectors easily fit into tight spaces or hard-to-reach places. The cable's shielding helps minimize unwanted RF and EM interference for a clear audio signal.

Does rode make a version that is not Coiled like the one that comes with rode videomic pro plus
Hello John. Rode doesn't currently sell the straight, non-coiled version of the SC2 by itself. If yours is currently broken reach out to your Rode retailer for a replacement under the warranty. If you would like something similar, I have found this third party option, although it's longer: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1001074-REG/startech_mu1mms2ra_right_angle_3_5mm_to.html

Will this record into a macbook pro from the rode wireless go? I am trying to record to an application and want to use the rode go as the mic.
It works the same as any 1/8" audio cable, so if the software and computer hardware is set up for that, this cable should do the same job as any. But you might need an adapter for a mac input if they don't provide a regular audio jack, which would be typical for mac.

question
Is this compatible on the VIDEO MICRO for mirrorless camera?
The cable will connect. But the camera must offer plug-in power for the microphone to work.

Can I use this to plug my Zoom H1n to my camera?
Can I use this to plug my Zoom H1n to my camera?
Hello Di, I don't see any reason why not. You should be good as long as the camera has a standard 1/8" TRS 3.5mm input jack.
