I have the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4G Lens(no aperture ring, only focus) which I would like to use on a a6400. Am I correct that using this adapter I will set the aperture using the ring on the adapter and focus using the ring on the lens ? Will this combination be usable in Aperture priority mode (that's most of the shooting I am doing)? Is the only difference between this one and FONIKFSNYE is that this one has aperture control ?
Yes you are correct. The adapter does change the aperture and that is the only difference between this adapter and the FONIKFSNYE. I tested this for you and it also works well on aperture priority.
