Lol. I thought it was acting like a extension tube, but it's not. I think my transition from a 4:6 image to 4:3 threw me off. After writing my first review, I started second guessing myself, so I compared it to an Olympic zoom lens to see what the focal length was, and yes, this has an accurate focal length for my m42 lenses. And there is no extra glass on the the adapter to ruin my beautiful lenses. The Canon EOS adapter I had from fotodiox was nicer because it didn't add any extra length like this one does, but that can't be avoided, so I can't complain. My favorite lens is alive and well on my new MFT camera.
The adapter came with the screw ring comepelt loose. The adapter is worthless. Second purchase in a row that has been completely useless. Getting tired of B&H wasting my time.
