It adapts my MC/MD-mount lenses to my Olympus E-M5 Mark II with no fuss. The entire thing is made of metal, and the MC/MD side has a locking mechanism similar to the one you'd find on an old Minolta body. No surprises here, which is a good thing.
I attached the adapter to one of my Minolta lenses and have not been able to take it off. The adapter goes on and off the camera just fine, but the lens and adapter seem to be permanently attached to each other. My photos with the adapter/lens are great, but I have two other lenses that I also wanted to use with this same adapter. I would return the adapter, but I don’t want to mail in my lens, so I’m stuck with things as they are.
