The Magnus MHA-01 Monopod Handle Adapter (B&H# MAMHA01) is made of a hard polymer on the inside for strength and durability, but a softer material on the outside for comfort during extended use. While its many reviews are the best testament to that, it may also be helpful to review the photos of the product being gripped in someone's hand to see how to get it to fit just about anyone's fingers correctly.

Does the handle have the screw to allow use with a camera while attached or do you have to revive it to attach the camera?
It looks like you could screw a ball head or other camera-attachment device into the unused socket, but it would probably be better to take off the handle and mount the camera directly on the monopod.
