Tilta RS-02-RD Overview

The 27" Nucleus-M RED DSMC2 Run/Stop Cable from Tilta is used to connect a Nucleus-M motor to a RED DSMC2 camera. The cable is designed with one 7-pin LEMO-type connector and one 4-pin LEMO-type connector, both straight-angled. This cable will trigger the run/stop function on the camera.

Note:
This cable was specifically designed for the Nucleus-M so the R/S function only works with the Nucleus-M's own hand unit and handles.

This cable does not work with Red Komodo Expansion Module CTL Port. According to Red the CTR Port on the Komodo Expansion Module is a DSMC2 port. . Waste of money for me.

The Tilta Nucleus-M RED DSMC2 Run/Stop Cable (27") is compatible with the RED Komodo X, so long as you use the Tilta Advanced I/O Module for RED V-RAPTOR (BH #TIESRT08IOM) as a means for the cable to interface with the cameras. See: https://bit.ly/3HMMTO3

Yes. That is correct! From the manufacturer; "Yes that is the correct cable to use if they are using a Nucleus M Motor even if they are controlling it with the Nano Hand Wheel."
