The black 0 Series Tripster Travel Tripod from Benro is a five-section aluminum tripod with a two-section center column that combine to reach a maximum height of 54.7", while weighing 2.5 lb. Splaying the legs completely out, the support drops to a minimum height of 13.2". Moreover, the legs fold in the reverse to a compact 13", so you can carry it to the next location. The removable center column and one leg can combine to create a monopod with a maximum height of 56.1". The Arca-type compatible ball head has a load capacity of 13 lb and includes a quick release plate with a 1/4"-20 camera mounting thread. Love This Tripod
I have three travel tripods and for one reason or another none of them worked out. Too long, too heavy, too etc. Understandably I was reluctant to purchase yet another one. Boy, am I glad I did. It comes with a pretty nice carry bag but it folds up so small it can fit directly in my airline tote bag, my travel size/carry-on luggage or my backpack. Also, light as a feather and if you are extending all five sections of the tripod legs they get pretty thin. That comes with issues too if you plan to be shooting in or are caught in high winds. However, it does have a hook on the bottom of the center column to mount a weight. Just don't forget to add that approximate weight to the maximum load carry, which is only 13 lbs. But it's a great tripod, I'm happy - highly recommended.
Best travel tripod
I have been looking for a small light tripod that does not cost $700. I tried multiple including the Manfrotto element travel carbon small and a couple more. I wanted a tripod up to 2.4 lbs, that folds to less than 14" and can lower center column. There is probably only one YouTube videos on this tripod but based on the description ticked all boxes. It holds my Leica SL2-s with the 24-70 2.8 lens which is a heavy combo. In some angles I have to tight well the head to avoid drifting. It is a great solution for me. Try it.
