Benro Tripster Travel 1 Series Tripod Reviews

Happy with my new Tripster tripod

I require a steady tripod for my artist “pochade” paint box. I already have the larger Tripster which is great but a bit heavy and cumbersome for a small backpack and for hiking about. So I got this smaller Tripster and so far it has worked out well. The extra spike feet are very handy. I am careful not to over tighten the leg joints to avoid damaging them. I was considering another brand that was cheaper but the quality of the BENRO Tripster tripod may be better. The sight bubble for leveling is difficult (for me) to read. Besides that I hope it lasts a long time as I am very satisfied with it. It’s easy to set up and pack away and so far steady for my gear and painting. It is a recent purchase and I’ve used it only 6 times so cannot attest as for its longevity with repeated use. So far it’s worked out well for my painting whilst standing and sitting.

good tripod, but Benro support doesn't exist

I've had this tripod for a few years and it has given good service. Unfortunately, two of the lowermost extensions on one leg became slightly bent when I tripped over it, ugh! It still works but the affected leg is somewhat difficult to extend and collapse. I tried contacting Benro about getting replacement extensions and after responding one time with little support I no longer heard from them. I like the tripod and it is supportive for a Z8 with the 70-200, and travels well. I wish Benro support existed.
