Pelican V300 Reviews

Perfect Size

I've dedicated this case to my flash units and accessories. Now I have two Canon 600 EX-RT flash units, color gels, flash benders, a couple of super clamps and a pair of small LED light panels with chargers all in one place. The dividers are easy to re-position and the elastic straps are handy for keeping smaller items securely in place. Highly recommended!

I use it to store my camera, lenses, and audio recorder. My gear is very well protected in this case. The pocket sizes can be adjusted with the movable velcro walls, and the straps help keep things in place. Pelican is the best in the business for making durable cases, and this one was very affordable.

Great for my a7iii + lenses

I bought this primarily for the purpose of safely bringing my body and lenses with me when I travel by car. After some tweaking with the dividers, I stored my a7iii body and four lenses, with a little room left for speedlight/filters. My car is always packed, as family travel goes, and I am confident that this case keeps my gear safe. I also like that I can lock it. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend the V300 for similar use cases.

I can fit one pro DSLR body, 4 lenses (one is 70-200 tele), and other accessories in this case. The price is just right for the size. The protection is more than what you paid for.

Is the V300 watertight?
Asked by: Vickie
Yes, mine is absolutely watertight. Pelican states this case is weather resistant. They do not say watertight. So...I tested mine by pushing it underwater and rolling it end over end underwater, (it wants to float) with my camera equipment inside and my Vault 300 remained 100% dry inside. Great case!

Are these cases as heavy duty as the Other Pelican Cases?
Asked by: cjordan
No. They are not waterproof. And they have a far shorter warranty. So they'll work fine for most uses but take that all in mind.

Based on the photo of the lenses laying down, What is the longest lens that could be placed in 1 of those compartments?
Asked by: mike
The dividers are removable/configurable so you have a few options. If you removed the horizontal dividers, I think you could fit a typical 24-70 vertically with room to spare (3 total?). If you removed the vertical ones, you could fit a 70-200 (maybe 2 total? - I don't have one to confirm). You might be able to fit the 70-200 vertically as well. It's a pretty good sized case. With the dividers configured as in the photo, I can fit my Panasonic 35-100 in any of the compartments. It's probably best just to measure.
