My dedicated audio box

Once I saw this on sale I did not hesitate. For the longest time i used a gopro softcase box as my dedicated audio case for wedding videography, but with adding more microphones and cable the case was getting hard to close, And this perfectly replaced it, And the divided make it very organized and handy for all my audio needs, It fits all my recorders, cables, Shotgunmics, and headphones all in one box, a the inside dividers is orange, so a very nice contrast against black gear, and easier to see in the dark venues I shoot sometimes. Its compact and not too big, and the hard case is also waterproof so no worries there. I highly recommend if you need a dedicated run n gun audio box.

About a year ago, I picked up a Pelican case designed to meet airline requirements for carry-on luggage. While preparing for an upcoming trip to Iceland, though, I discovered that Iceland Air has a different maximum size requirement than virtually every other airline I've flown with. Instead of the typical 22x14x9, Iceland requires a bag no larger than 21.6x15.7x7.8. Based on what I've read, trying to use a bag larger than this can result in the bag being moved to checked baggage. Thanks but no thanks. This V300, sized at 17.5x14.1x7.2 is small enough to meet Iceland Air's requirements while still large enough to carry most of the gear I intend to carry. My standard kit consists of a GFX100s, GFX50r, and 4 GF lenses. For this trip, though, I'm only planning to take the 100s and 3 GF lenses. The V300 is large enough to carry the camera, 2 GF lenses, and some spare batteries. That means one of my lenses will need to go into my under-the-seat "personal item" backpack. Even though is is smaller than standard Pelican carry-on cases, there is no difference when it comes to sturdy construction. The case is thick and resists crushing. The latches operate smoothly and easily with a design that makes them highly resistant to inadvertent opening. My one complaint about this case is the foam that it ships with. Instead of pick-and-pull foam, the V300 comes with solid foam. Given the ease with which pick-and-pull foam can be configured, I'm not sure why Pelican still uses solid foam for their inserts. I happened to have some properly sized pick-and-pull foam handy and I used it instead of the Pelican-supplied foam. If you need a smaller case to hold your camera gear, of if you are flying on an airline that has strict and non-standard carry-on size requirements, you really can't go wrong with the Vault V300. This is a well-designed case that will likely outlast your gear.
