Asked by: Paul
The Panasonic DMW-TC14 1.4x Teleconverter included with the Panasonic Leica DG Elmarit 200mm f/2.8 POWER O.I.S. Lens would be fully compatible for use on the Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera.

question

Can you mount the hood in reverse for transporting?
Asked by: Eduardo
The hood, like most other Panasonic-Leica lenses, slides onto the front and secures with a set screw. The hood can be reversed and tightened onto the lens for travel.

question

In terms of image sharpness, would this lens be considered an upgrade of Olympus 300mm f/4 Pro?
Asked by: ZHOU Y.
I don't own any of these lenses. still analyzing which would be best for mi intended use as well as the 100/400 Panasonic/leica zoom. Sharpness wise a prime will always beat a zoom. Between the 200 pan/leica and the Olympus 300 I'd go with the one that matches your camera brand (Olympus or Panasonic) I assume. The reach difference in favor of the Olympus is almost null with the included leica 1.4 x Tele extender plus the faster speed makes the leica a no brainer if you have a Lumix camera

question

I just got this lens. The first thing I noticed is that it seems like the optical stabilization moves around when the camera is off (similar to how the IBIS sensors move when there is no power). When I power on the camera it goes away. Not sure if this is a defect or if it is part of the intentional design. Did anyone else encounter this?
Asked by: Ed
Original author here:I did find in the manual that there is a rattle that occurs when the camera is off (it's not a malfunction). It's just quite a bit louder than I expected.
