Elinchrom Speedring for Rotalux Deep Octa Reviews
Works well with smaller Profoto heads

I use this to inverse mount a B10 series head into a deep 100cm or 135cm Rotalux. Inverse light has a slightly different look to it…especially close up. It’s just a preference. You can always go back to a standard speed ring. I would not use it with a D2 or B1x as those lights are too long and weighted towards the back.
Awesome

Hi would this speed ring work with the normal Rotalux 175cm (69") to make it indirect?
If yes, then does it have a problem with lights since normal rotalux is not as deep as the indirect rotalux?
I have it permanent mounted on my 69" and it works great. I even swapped the ring mount to a balcar mount and it's been solid.

I have the 175cm/69" rotalux (not deep). Will this adapter work for reversing the head in this softbox? Stephen, is this the setup you have?
The Elinchrom Speedring for Rotalux Deep Octa Indirect 59" / 150 cm should fit into the Elinchrom Rotalux Octabox (175cm / 69"). Depending on the size of the strobe, it might stick out a little and prevent you from using the front diffuser.
