Gitzo GS5370LDR Reviews
Good plate for big/heavy lens
Long (140mm) plate. Provides excellent support with adjustable balance to RF 100-500 (my biggest lens) on a Gitzo GH4383QR head. For RF 70-200 I use a shorter GS5370LDR. Please note that the plate has wide upper platform (55mm), which is wider than its lower Arca-Swiss profile. While it provides excellent support on a big head with a big clamp, it might be overkill for a smaller head and/or small lens. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons: 1) the D-ring on one of screw heads is very, very tight and is very hard to rotate with fingers; 2) the picture shows 3 screws, but my plate has only 2. Not an issue, but still strange a little bit.
