The GS5370LDR Long Quick Release D Profile Plate from Gitzo is an Arca-type compatible plate that has two rubber strips that run the length of the top. The rubber strips provide a secure grip to the bottom of a camera and protect surface paint at the same time. The plate provides three 1/4"-20 mounting screws along with a 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16 screw adapter.

Yes, the screws in the Gitzo GS5370LDR Long Quick Release D Profile Plate can be removed. Please note: in order to remove the screws, you must slide them all the way to right or left side and unscrew them.
