I have a AD200 and 35" softbox, will this hold that comfortably? I will probably be using these outside on a soccer field.
Asked by: Mark
The Impact Aluminum Mid-Range Boom Arm should be strong enough to carry an AD200 with a 35-inch softbox as long as the total of the light, softbox, and adapter is less than 5 lb. If it is over, you might want to think about this one: Impact Boom Arm (Black, Chrome-plated, 86"), BH #IMLSABASB. You will need a counterweight for that one. And for either one, you should use at least a 20 lb sandbag on the bottom of the stand.

when you say 26-60" extension, is that measured from the stand or does it include the counterbalance part?
Asked by: Connie
Its 26-60" from the hook for the counter balance, to the tip of the 5/8" stud. This is not measured from the stand.

Yes, a speedlight and umbrella can be mounted to this Impact Mid-Range Boom Arm by way of the Impact Deluxe Umbrella Mount with Adjustable Shoe, BH # IMDUBAS. https://bhpho.to/3VbKD8n
