FotodioX M42-NIKZ-PRO Reviews

Good adapter, but has a narrow thread stop, so doesn't work with TTArtisan 75mm f1.5 Swirly Bokeh

Seems like a good adapter, but it doesn't allow infinity focus with the TTArtisan 75mm f1.5 Swirly Bokeh lens, or any lens with a too-wide rear element group which extends into the camera body while focusing to infinity.

Not enough clearance for aperture lever of certain lenser

While this is solidly built, I cannot recommend it. My copy was a tiny bit loose on the Z mount end, but the worst thing is that for some reason they have added an internal ring that does not have enough clearance for the aperture lever of certain lenses such as the Takumar 135mm f/2.5. This results in the aperture lever getting stuck, thus you cannot change the aperture anymore while the lens is mounted on the adapter. In my effort to force it, I actually ended up damaging an otherwise totally mint lens, which gave me great grief. Be sure that your m42 lenses are not affected by this design flaw before buying it. Personally I'll be selling mine and getting a K&F one, which has been great for my GFX.
