Tilta UBP Overview

Designed to power your camera and accessories, the Universal Battery Plate from Tilta provides you a way to power your camera and onboard accessories from a single V-mount battery. The battery plate attaches to your camera cage or 15mm rail system.

The plate passes through your battery's power to five 14.8V D-Tap outputs, one 14.8V 2-pin LEMO-type output, and one 14.8V 3-pin Fischer output. The plate also features one BNC SDI input and two BNC SDI outputs. The plate attaches to your camera, cage, or rig using the included 15mm LWS adapter and clamp.

Excellent solution for powering your camera and a host of accessories. I chose it mainly for the ability to change the angle of the plate, which can be useful when balancing the camera. I like the built-in SDI splitter as well as the location of the D-Tap outputs. The only feature missing is an on/off option...but very satisfied otherwise.

Will the BNC ports work with signal from a 12-G SDI output like on the RED Komodo and Blackmagic Pyxis?

The SDI ports on the Tilta Universal Battery Plate (V-Mount) are 3G-SDI rated. They support HD signals up to 60p. It could work with all the cameras listed, but we can only guarantee 3G-SDI support (1080 HD up to 60p).

Yes, according to Tilta it does rotate. The battery plate can be mounted at any angle.

To power the Canon C200 with the Tilta Universal Battery Plate (V-Mount), a cable such as the Kondor Blue D-Tap to 4-Pin Coiled Power Cable for Canon C200/C300 Mark II, B&H # KOBDTPFLEM4P, would be needed.

Yes, The Tilta Universal Battery Plate (V-Mount) could work with the Canon C70. You would need to have 15mm rods to mount it and the following power cable. BH #WODTCC70C Another idea specifically made for the C70 is BH #WO288500
