How do I connect a monitor to this plate that requires 12 volt (like the BM video assist?))
The bmd video assist accepts 12v-16v dc to power up. You can power it using a d-tap cable from one of the d-tap outputs on this battery plate. I recommend going with original blackmagic cables for power when looking for the right cable.
