There are two images of this lens. One is very short, like a pancake. The other is longer. Can you please explain the two different looks? I am looking at this for a Canon R5, if that matters.

The correct image for the Canon RF mount is the third image in our website which is the largest version. The lens dimensions are 63mm x72mm (LxW), with a front diamter of 46mm to attach filters.

The main difference is how they mount to the camera. The Sweet 50 requires a Composer Pro lens to attach to the camera while the Sol 45mm has a direct lens mount.

Yes, you do. The instructions in the manual will tell you to use Aperture. I use the D750 also. Lensbaby are all manual focus so it can be a challenge to use. My eyes are not the best so I do have to work at the focusing. I just bought the Velvet 85 and it is challenging also. But that being said, I love this little lens! It really can be fun.
