What's the weight limit on the handle? Can you pick it up when full? Is it padded?
I use this case to store lenses. The case is padded; the handles are not. It is not designed or intended to be used to transport camera and lenses over a distance by itself. Like the other size cases in this line it is intended to be placed inside a pack or other carrying device. It seems plenty strong, and I have no concerns in carrying it from its closet storage location to another nearby location. But for longer distances this isn't the best choice-not because of strength but because it is fairly large and somewhat unwieldy. It works very well for my purposes.

Well, it fits but you lose 2-3 inches at the top of the ICU because it is bigger than the Tilopa opening. I can still fit a lens in that area but it takes a little effort to take it out. Given that situation I would still get the X-large if I had to do it over again because I carry a lot of equipment in my bag.

The external dimensions of the f-stop PRO ICU (Black, X-Large) are listed as 7 x 11.5 x 19". The dimensions of the main compartment inside the Shimoda Designs Explore 40 Backpack (Blue Nights) are listed as 11.4 x 17.3 x 6.7". It appears the f-stop PRO ICU (Black, X-Large) is slightly too large to fit inside the Shimoda Designs Explore 40 Backpack.

Anyone ever tried to drop this in a 1510 or 1535? Seems like it might fit, but the width is different by .3".
Unfortunately is it just about 1/2 off in 1 dimension so it will not fit either of those cases.
