The metallic slate gray 3 Legged Thing Jay Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod Legs with Quick Leveling Base is part of the Legends range and is for flat-base tripod heads with either a 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 threaded mounting hole. It is a carbon fiber leveling-base tripod, with friction control on the underside to finely adjust the position of the leveling base. The 5-section removable legs have a height range of 3.9 to 43.8" and are made from eight layers of carbon fiber and feature twist-lock leg locks with an improved shim system for greater strength.
The Rapid-Latch Angle adjustment system allows you to quickly set the angle of each leg independently, even when wearing gloves. All three legs are detachable, allowing you to use the quick leveling system, with optional accessories, as the base for a high hat for low-angle shots, or for working on a tabletop setup. Each detached leg can be used as a monopod or as a boom arm.
