The Pro Lens Mount Adapter enables ARRI PL-mount lenses to fit on Hasselblad X-mount medium format mirrorless cameras. This lens mount adapter is designed to attach to the lens itself, it is not meant to permanently adapt the mount of the camera. The adapter mounts to the lens and is removable, so you can use one adapter on many different PL-mounted lenses. Additionally, the adapter maintains the correct flange focal distance, which maintains infinity focus.

I contacted FotodioX regarding your inquiry concerning what flange depth of PL lens is supported by the FotodioX Pro Lens Mount Adapter ARRI PL to Hasselblad X. The manufacturer states that it is a tough measurement to take, but while they want to estimate, the adapter's inner barrel starts to taper in after about 30.45mm.

Does using this adapter allow full sensor coverage on an X1D camera?
The FotodioX Pro Lens Mount Adapter for Arri Positive Lock Mount Lenses to Hasselblad XCD Mount Camera does not in any way change the image circle projected by the lens. Sensor coverage is wholly dependent on the lens being used. If the lens used has the coverage, you will be covered.
