Budget Macrophotography

Perfect for entry level macrophotography on a budget. I am sure that a dedicated macro lens would be better. For my purposes of taking pictures of my spiders and just to make explore a different form of photography, it is perfect. It can be a little cumbersome switching between lens to get the right amount of zoom. The extension tube also block a lot of light with a lot of pictures coming out underexposed. But that it more an issue with the tech not this specific version of it.

I had no idea that something so simple could add so much functionality to my macro lens (or make other lenses behave like a macro). This is such a deal.

I am planning to get this set to use on the Nikon Z MC 105mm 2.8, not sure whether the focus point would be inside of the lens or not when I stack both the 12mm and the 24mm together?

When using both the 12mm and 24mm extension tubes in the Viltrox Automatic Extension Tube Set for Nikon Z together, the magnification of your lens will increase, and it will allow you to focus closer than using the Nikon NIKKOR Z MC 105mm f/2.8 VR S Macro Lens by itself. However, it does not indicate the new minimum focus distance when using the extension tubes on the Nikon NIKKOR Z MC 105mm f/2.8 VR S Macro Lens.

I want to use extension tubes on my Z8 with an f mount lens and the FTZ adapter. Should I use Z mount or F mount tubes?

I would recommend using the Viltrox Automatic Extension Tube Set for Nikon Z mount version. This way you can use both an adapted F-mount lens or a native Z-mount lens.

Does this allow autofocusing and image stabilization with Canon EF-S lenses?

Most lenses will autofocus but it does not support lens image stabilization. And depending on the camera the AF might not function because of the light loss using extension tubes.

I have an Fisheye Opteka 6.5mm f/3.5 Fisheye for Canon, this extension work with Sony ZV E10?

That lens is too wide. If you use an extension tube like this you won't be able to focus. Extension tubes are usually for lenses over 30mm in focal length or you may end up having the focus being behind the lens.
