Tilta's 75 to 77mm Seamless Focus Gear Ring allows you to add 0.8 MOD gears to a compatible lens for use with cine follow focuses. This 75 to 77mm size fits virtually all lenses of the same outer diameter. The seamless version is designed with an improvement over Tilta's earlier gear rings in that it's fully closed and requires no screws in order to be secured to the lens. As a result, it attaches to the lens more easily and provides evenly distributed pressure while ensuring zero drifting and accurate focus. It's made of durable, flexible rubber, attaches firmly, and it works silently and smoothly along 360° of rotation. The MOD rating and 75 to 77mm diameter size are etched out on the inside of the ring.

Tilta TA-FGR Overview

Tilta's 75 to 77mm Seamless Focus Gear Ring allows you to add 0.8 MOD gears to a compatible lens for use with cine follow focuses. This 75 to 77mm size fits virtually all lenses of the same outer diameter. The seamless version is designed with an improvement over Tilta's earlier gear rings in that it's fully closed and requires no screws in order to be secured to the lens. As a result, it attaches to the lens more easily and provides evenly distributed pressure while ensuring zero drifting and accurate focus. It's made of durable, flexible rubber, attaches firmly, and it works silently and smoothly along 360° of rotation. The MOD rating and 75 to 77mm diameter size are etched out on the inside of the ring.

There are 14 different sizes to choose from for different lenses. Please see the list of lenses below and the compatible ring size next to each one. Other lenses may be compatible as well, but the below list has been confirmed by Tilta.

I got a 75-77mm for my canon ef 24-70 mk ii and a 81-83mm for my 16-35. The 75-77 doesn't fit on the 24-70 but the 81-83 does. The size chart is wrong for my lens and potentially others. Probably a typo.

It's great product.

For the Sirui 75mm f/1.8 1.33x Anamorphic Lens (Micro Four Thirds) the Tilta Seamless Focus Gear Ring (75 to 77mm) is likely too big, since the lens has a diameter of 73 mm. I recommend using the Tilta Seamless Focus Gear Ring (72 to 74mm) instead. See: https://bit.ly/3DmqZ2n

Since the Tamron SP 15-30mm F/2.8 Di VC USD has a 98.4mm diameter, you will need a gear ring that is fits a 98.4mm diameter.
