The black, wheeled 1637 Air Case from Pelican is a crush and waterproof hard case made from lightweight HPX2 polymer that will protect and store sensitive gear. The case secures with an updated push-button latching system that uses compressive force to tightly clamp the case closed on three sides. It comes with a padded insert and a set of long and short adjustable and padded touch-fastening dividers for keeping your gear cushioned and organized. Carry options include three overmolded handles or a retractable pull handle and two low-profile, quiet-rolling wheels.
The super-light proprietary HPX2 polymer construction has honeycomb structural elements, and is up to 40% lighter than most other Pelican polymers. An O-ring seals it to an IP67-rating to make it dust and waterproof. There are dual 5/16" diameter stainless steel reinforced padlock holes, and a pressure relief valve to regulate the internal pressure. This prevents your gear and the case from getting crushed while allowing the case to be opened easily after changes in air pressure. For easy identification, there's a polycarbonate card holder on the front of the case.
