Has APC fixed the chirping noise in this version
Asked by: john
Thank you for your inquiry. There has been firmware revisions to address the cosmetic issue. The latest firmware would be on the BR1500MS2. However just note the unit would still alarm if the battery were disconnected in the unit or the UPS failed a self test. This is to notify you that there is alarm on the unit so you can address it. If you run into any issues with our unit please do not hesitate to reach out to an APCbySchneider support team. We offer email and chat services through our support site. There isn't a TYPE B female USB connection on this UPS. How do you connect the Male end of the supplied communication cable that has a Male Type A at one end and a Male Type B at the other?
Asked by: Peter
I contacted APC and they are going to mail me the correct cable - they acknowledged the supplied cable won't work even though the documentation says it should work. They need to fix the manual or include the correct cable - at least they should give the part number for the correct cable.

Asked by: Bruce
Are you sure the battery capacity on the MS2 is higher than the MS model? That doesn't agree with the Batter Capacity number in the specs or the runtimes as compared between the two.
