SmallRig 3027 Overview

Work with some extra comfort and stability when shooting with your DJI RS 4, RS 4 Pro, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 2, RSC 2 handheld gimbal stabilizer with the Dual Handgrip from SmallRig. Enabling you to hold your gimbal with both hands, this handgrip is designed to reduce arm fatigue, especially during long shooting sessions. The dual handgrip horizontal arms mount onto either side of the gimbal handle using NATO clamps.

The comfortable silicone handgrips can be adjusted to allow you to hold the rig upside down for shooting in inverted mode, and it disassembles for easy storage and transport. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads allow you to easily mount separately available accessories. It also features NATO rails and shoe mounts on either side for additional accessory options.

Provides extra stability and balance when using the DJI RS4 gimbal. Helps to evenly distribute the strain on your arms. Grips are easy to attach. I did notice the tightening screws loosing a bit after attaching them. Hoping that one the grips are settled in that will not be an issue.

This is a must buy in my opinion. It significantly increases stability, control and comfortability depending on how much weight you are carrying. I use this with a phone and a DSLR and it is a must for the DSLR.

Is it possible to rig this out to be a ring grip, much like the (way more expensive) control ring grips just withoutthe control?

The SmallRig Dual Handgrips would not provide the same functions as a gimbal ring mount. However, there is a Smallrig Ring that is low cost. SmallRig Wireless Control Ring for DJI RS 2/RS 3 Pro BH #SM3953

The SmallRig 3919 is an electric control handle that works with the RS3 Pro, And RS2 gimbal models. The SmallRig Dual Handgrip for DJI RS 2/RSC 2/RS 3/RS 3 Pro Gimbal would need to be removed from the gimbal to use the SmallRig Wireless Control Sling Handgrip (3919). No it will not work with the first generation DJI Ronin S or SC. It is only compatible with the RS2 or RSC2.

Yes, the mounting arms of the SmallRig Dual Handgrip for DJI RS 2/RSC 2/RS 3/RS 3 Pro Gimbal can be flipped for the handgrips to point up.

Yes, a 7" monitor would fit fine on the Smallrig Dual Handgrip for DJI RS 2/RSC 2 Gimbal, when using an appropriate shoe mount.
