Benro MSD36C Reviews
Great Product
Well made. Solid. Top flip latch makes this monopod quickly adjustable. Supa-Dupa!
nice monopod, specs on B&H are not correct
My main tripod is a Benro that I've used pretty heavily for about 5 years. It's great, so I expected this monopod to be of the same quality. It is. I expect many years of use. There some errors in the B&H description (which is quite unusual for B&H): The mounting stud is the typical monopod convertible 3/8-16 and 1/4-20. This is a six section monopod with twist locks on the lower sections and a lever lock on the top section. What a great idea! In nature shooting I'm often adjusting monopod height and having the lever on the top makes that really easy for modest adjustments. There is no level on this, where would you put it? There is no quick-release plate until you choose a head, which is not included. So, of course there are no pan/tilt locks either.
