Benro MSDPL46C Overview

The MSDPL46C SupaDupa Carbon Fiber Monopod with Leveling Pan Head from Benro is a versatile and highly portable carbon fiber tripod that's well suited to travel, sports, and wildlife photography. With a maximum height of 62", this lightweight monopod weighs just 2 lb and folds to a compact 19.1", small enough to fit in a backpack or large camera bag. The six leg segments open quickly and easily using twist-lock joints, and the top joint features a flip-lock release for fast height adjustments on the fly.

The MSDPL46C SupaDupa monopod features a built-in leveling pan head with +/-20° of tilt and 360° pan rotation and an Arca-type-compatible quick release set. It features a precision pan scale to accurately and precisely track subjects, and a level shot may be maintained by using the built-in leveling ball in conjunction with the attached bubble level, no matter the terrain. The oversized ergonomic quick release knob includes a safeguard feature to prevent the quick release plate for slipping too far, and the sliding adjustable plate has a precision scale to aid in balancing camera.

This monopod was easy to use with all ranges of size and weights of all my lenses. The amenities were many and handy for all the possible shooting situations that might occur, It closed down into a nice tidy, light weight product.

I recently purchased a large lens for baseball action shots and needed a monopod to go with it as it was too large to easily hand hold. Stopped into the store to play touch - feel with an assortment as it was had to tell from the website even though the web site is fantastic. The monopod is extremely light weight and very sturdy. I love the arca head as it allows for easy on of mounting of the lens. The 'bowl' under the head allows for very smooth panning and changing angles as I transition for a batter to a fielder. It also extends in length enough so that I do not have to hunch over when shooting. A nice plus for my old bones :-) Highly recomended.

WHERE CAN I GET THIS LEVELING PAN HEAD ... but i want to use it with the TALLER MONOPOD, MSD46C? thank you! i really don't want to use a ball head on top on the monopod. the leveling head looks like it will be so much nicer! thanks!

Answer from BH is not very good, the LBA2 is just not a very good leveling head, it has no locking screws either top or bottom, and it's expensive. The correct answer would be that you can use ANY other brand leveling head, or simple hinge mono pod head etc.

Yes, the Tele Vue TV-85 85mm f/7 APO Doublet Refractor Telescope can use an brand plate that uses the Arca Swiss standard.
