The Hosa Technology STP-204 Stereo 1/4" Male to 2 Mono 1/4" Male Y-Cable will only work with your guitar if it is wired with a stereo output signal which is not a common configuration for a typical electric guitar. If your guitar has standard wiring with mono output signal, the Hosa Technology 1/4" Male to Two 1/4" Female Y-Cable (B&H # HOYCPM2PF) would be the more ideal solution to split the guitar's signal out to two amplifiers at the same time. Standard instrument cables can be used to connect from the female jacks on the Y-cable to the input jack on each amplifier.

It can! It's what I bought the cable for. I take the two mono unbalanced outs of my interface into a single stereo unbalanced input of a headphone amp for the artists to monitor on.
