Two questions -- 1) how does this unit's power compare w/ that of the TT685N. I thought the 685 was about 60 ws & one of the answers below says the 860 is about 25 ws. 2. Modeling light's capability. Does it stay on when you flash or does it turn off during the flash (or can you make it do this). Reason I'm asking is we'd like a better way to shoot at low light, especially wedding receptions when the lights are low for dancing. We've tried other ideas like flashlights, but the 'spotlight effect' that creates isn't great. So can you help?
Asked by: John
The Godox Ving V860III TTL Li-Ion Flash Kit for Nikon Cameras can have a faster recycle time in actual use compared to the Godox TT685N Thinklite TTL Flash for Nikon Cameras. Flash power they are the same. And that is rated in Guide numbers at, 196.85' / 60 m at ISO 100 (200 mm Position). The Godox Ving V860III TTL Li-Ion Flash has a 2nd modeling lamp that is brighter in front and so can be used better for video and as a fill.
