Tiffen 67mm Circular Polarizer Filters - Light rays which are reflected become polarized. Polarizing filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. They can remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass and also saturate colors providing better contrast. The effect can be seen through the viewfinder and changed by rotating the filter. The filter factor varies according to how the filter is rotated and its orientation to the sun.

How does this compare to the Tiffen Digital HT ...
How does this compare to the Tiffen Digital HT CPL that is about $40 more? Which one is higher quality for videography/filmmaking?
The Tiffen CP Wide Angle is our standard circular polarizing filter with no front filter threads on the filter ring in order to prevent vignetting when shooting at wider focal lengths. The Tiffen Digital HT CP is our premium quality filter and includes multicoated glass to for scratch resistance and has a titanium coated filter ring.

does this work with sony FE 20 f1.8?
does this work with sony FE 20 f1.8?
It definitely should since it works without vignetting on my APS-C 10-18 mm UVA zoom, which starts at 16mm FF equivalent. The Sony lens does not seem to have a front element that extends closer to the outer edge of the lens barrel than my lens. Conclusion is you are probably safe.

If I stack this CPL on top of a fixed ND filter ...
If I stack this CPL on top of a fixed ND filter (see link), will they thread together ? And should I put the CPL on the outside, on top of the ND? https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/163449-REG/Tiffen_67WIDCP_67mm_Circular_Polarizing_Wide.html/qa
You can stack a CP on top of an ND that has the same size filter threads. Tiffen filters with the "Wide" designation have limited front filter threads on the front to avoid vignetting. The wide filters will not be suitable to be the first filter on the lens if you want to stack filters, however they can be the outer filter.
The CP should always be the last (outside) filter as you will need to turn this filter to adjust the polarization. Please keep in mind that stacking filters effectively increases the barrel length of your lens and may result in vignetting, especially when shooting at wide focal lengths.

what wider focal length The Tiffen Digital HT CP ...
what wider focal length The Tiffen Digital HT CP is compatible?. It seems TIFFEN have a CP Wide angle but with inferior quality (no coating) than the HT CP. so is the HT CP compatible with 17-28mm focal length?
I guess so, I am using it with Canon 10-18mm

Does it include a front cap?
Does it include a front cap?
The Tiffen 77mm Circular Polarizing Wide Angle (Low Profile Design) filter has very limited front filter threads to avoid the chance of vignetting in your images when shooting at wider focal lengths. As the lens cap attaches to the filter thread, attaching any lens cap will not be possible. We suggest taking this filter off your camera and returning it to its case when not in use. You should then attach a Tiffen 77mm UV Protection filter to the lens and attach the lens cap to that filter.

Can you mount a filter or screw in hood to the ...
Can you mount a filter or screw in hood to the front of this filter?
No; this filter uses a Wide Angle (Low Profile) mount. In order to help eliminate vignetting (darkening of the corners), it does not have a front thread. As the Tiffen 58mm Circular Polarizing Wide Angle (Low Profile Design) Filter does not have front filter threads, you would not be able to connect a screw-in filter or a screw-in lens hood onto the front of the filter.
