The adapter works great, with some caveats:- On the camera mount side, it seems like it goes past the white dot on the camera side. It feels like it over screws if you mount it while keeping the lens release button pressed. Definitely a bit scary the first time it happens.- The design of the adapter, with the lens mount flush with the front of the adapter, means that some M39 lenses can't be used. This is the case with the collapsible Industar 50mm 3.5, as the focus tab of the lens requires some clearing around the lens mount. Other collapsible lenses like the Leica Summicron 50/2 work fine
