The Nest Cam Battery captures 1080p resolution video at 30 fps from a 130° diagonal field of view.

It features up to 20' of night vision and two-way audio with noise cancellation thanks to a built-in microphone and speaker.

Receive Motion-Activated Alerts
A motion-detection range of up to 25' delivers smart motion-activated alerts to your mobile device.

The smart motion-activated alerts can differentiate between people, animals, and vehicles to minimize false alarms.

What is the cold weather temperature limit on this camera? I'm in Fairbanks, Alaska and it can get 40 below (F) in the winter.

The operating temperature for the Google Nest Cam is from -4 F degrees up to 104 F degrees. When the temperature drops below -4F, the camera will stop working until the temperature picks up.

The Nest Cam has a built-in rechargeable (6 Ah, 3.65V lithium-ion) battery that allows for wire-free installation. Estimated battery life with event-based recording is as follows: Busy: About 1.5 months battery life with 20-25 recorded events per day Typical: About 3 months with 9-12 recorded events/day Quiet: About 7 months with 2-4 recorded events/day The power source, combined with local storage, means you get an hour’s worth of video when Wi-Fi is offline. This translates to an estimated week’s worth of clips that will upload when the connection is regained.

Can I plug it to a 220 volts outlet?

Since there is no spec on the input voltage we cannot say for sure. If the power adapter says on it 100-240V input then all you need to do is adapt the plug to whatever plug you need. If it says 110/120V then you will need to use a step down transformer that will convert the 220V to 110V.

How far away can I set up this outdoor camera from my WiFi router? I want to set it up on a light pole 100 feet away from my indoor router. Will it work?

The Google Nest Cam will have to be set up within the range of your local WIFI network. The camera will need to be plugged in for power.

Yes if you use a step down transformer that converts from 220V to 110V then it will work. If the included power adapter says 100-240V input then you just need to adapt the plug to whatever outlet you are plugging in to.
