Why do specs of the Nikon 7x50 OceanPro Binoculars show the need for batteries?
I have notified the B&H web content team. No batteries required for this model only the model with a digital compass.

Are you limited by the eye cups not being able to ...
Are you limited by the eye cups not being able to twist into multiple heights? Any black outs for eye relief?
I do not believe you will have any issues. However if you do wear Glasses it might be an issue. I do recommend maybe going with a Model that have Eyecup's that can twist down, or fold down. Like a Steiner Model would work well.

Are these stabilizing binoculars ?
Im not certain what that means. I use mine for whale watching when I volunteer at Marineland in Florida. Perfect for that with compass and measurement feature.
