Blue Yeti USB Microphone (Blackout)

I bought this recently on the recommendation of my mentor. It tremendously improved the sound quality of my Mac. The downside is that the foot is quite sensitive, meaning that if I put my hand or anything else on the table, the mic picks it up and records it.

I have been using this to record my classroom lecture and discussion. It is amazing how it will pick up students comments though they are in the far corner of the room. The quality of the sound is great as well. I am more than pleased with the mic. It automatically connected to the usb of my computer, I just needed to choose which mic I wanted to use. It was more expensive than some of the other options but for me was well worth the cost...it is also a bit big for carrying around as I travel in my lectures...
