Impact Background Hooks Overview

The Background Dual Hooks from Impact make it possible to mount two rolls of seamless background paper up to 9 x 6 ft. to a studio wall or ceiling. This hook system makes it easy to access and switch between the different paper rolls. The Impact Varidrive chain drive system can be installed into each roll, and the hooks separate each background roll with enough room to change backgrounds quickly and conveniently. Was exactly what I needed. A solid pc of metal so I can hang my backgrounds. Came with the screws that were very solid. Now I can quickly convert my room into a studio.

Not Disappointed

Very pleased with the construction of this product. Built heavy enough for most paper or fabric Backdrops.

how far apart do I mount these hooks for a 9' roll?
Asked by: Georgia
stick the roll holders in the paper and then measure the distance. About 9 feet 4 inches. Because the paper holders (that these mounts accept) slide in and out of the paper roll, you have some leeway and don't have to mount them at a precise distance. The holders that go in the paper roll, slide into the cardboard tube and then you turn the knob to create tension on the roll. So you can slip them in the carboard tube and slide them in and out with a couple of inches of play, to set your paper up. I mean, as long as you don't have them like 11 feet apart, you have several inches of play if you were to mount them at 9 1/2 feet apart or whatever.

What crossbar is needed to hold a seamless paper roll up?
Asked by: Zephan
No bar is needed. They come wrapped around a heavy duty cardboard tube. What you do need though is a Varidrive set. If you search “Impact Varidrive” on BnH they should show up. They insert on the ends of the tube, and drop into the slots of these hooks. Then have chains to help roll the paper up and down. Hope that helps!
