Power2000 BLX-1 Overview

The Power 2000 BLX-1 LCD Charger comes with a pair of BLX-1 replacement batteries and has dedicated plates with simultaneous charging for both batteries. It features an LCD panel to clearly see all the information you need at a glance. Charger features an integrated circuit that provides protection to prevent batteries from overheating or overcharging. It also includes a car lighter adapter cable for the charger and a USB Type-A port for charging mobile devices, which you can use on the road.     Charger is problematic, only one channel charges

    There are two "trays" you have to insert into the charger which then allow you to insert a BLX-1 into each tray. The trays are **very hard** to get into the charger. It seemed as if they were the wrong size (too tight on width). I almost could not get one tray into the charger at all. And once they are in, forget about every getting them out! I found one tray would charge, and the one I had to fight with would not charge. That left me with one good tray, and a single-battery charger. Have notified B&H by email. Awaiting reply.

    This battery arrived the day after I ordered it. It was packaged well. I charged it and then put it in my camera and everything worked perfectly. I haven't done any kind of in depth test but I did use it down to 12% and It seemed to last about as long as the OEM model does. For the price I'm very happy with the purchase. The only thing that would make it better would be a cap or case for it so the I don't have to worry about when it's packed in my bag during travel.

    Thanks for the word of caution. I have several spare batteries including the Power2000. Keeping the batteries charged is much more convenient using the BCX-1 charger.
