Dust-Off Chrome Valve is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for. In the past, I've used disposable (plastic straw) style compressed air cans. Unfortunately, these have on occasion, spit propellant on slides, and other sensitive equipment. I've never had this happen with chrome nozzles. If you have access to the appropriate style of can, I highly recommend getting this nozzle. I have used similar (metal) chrome valves in the past with much success. Unfortunately, living in Canada, it's hard to come by compressed air cans that accept metal nozzles. Initially, I was concerned that this nozzle might not fit the Falcon air cans I purchased earlier. Fortunately, it fits perfectly and now I have access to clean, (very) strong bursts of air, for removing stubborn dirt/dust particles.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from heads and cans are not interchangeable I've been a Dust-Off user for 30 years. I recently bought a head with the swivel nozzle, which is nice, as not being able to direct the flow of air has always been a problem (and nothing like blowing liquid Freon onto your negatives or image sensor). So I have a bunch of cans that go with the swivel nozzle, but the blow seemed weaker than the old chrome system. So I bought this chrome nozzle for a different location of my business, only to find that the chrome nozzle does not fit the new Dustoff Plus Refillable Cleaner cans. That's right, the threads are different. So the system is the same--threaded, female head goes on a threaded, male can. But they used different threading. OMG. And the Original Dustoff refill cans are $each, which would buy 3 competitor cans, which have a built-in nozzle. Time to dump Dust-Off--expensive and unbelievably boneheaded.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For Duct-off Classic cans Replace the red plastic nozzle that comes with your Classic can and get a control of the air blast with this metallic trigger/nozzle gizmo!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't fit I ordered a couple Dust-Off refill cans. (Had to go elsewhere because B&H doesn't ship these.) When I received them I discovered the threads don't fit my old chrome valve. So I ordered a new valve from B&H. But it, too, only fits the old cans. What gives?
