For recording live concerts in a venue, how would

For recording live concerts in a venue, how would these compare to other mics? I see the "designed use case" is for close miking of instruments. Would KM184 be better for my use or would these DPA 2012 offer even more transparent sound?

A stereo pair of small diaphragm condenser mics like these DPA Microphones ST2012 Compact Cardioid Condenser Microphones can be used for concert recordings or for ambient sound, usually in an X-Y pattern. The Neumann SKM 184 MT Stereo Matched Microphone Pair is comparable in quality and application, and can also work for this use.

How dkes this compare to the km184 or audio technica at 4053b i wod like a microphone for dialog but i dnt control the rec space

The DPA Microphones ST2012 Compact Cardioid Condenser Microphone is a high-quality small diaphragm condenser microphone that is comparable to the Neumann KM 184 Condenser Microphone, which is also a high-quality small diaphragm condenser microphone. Both have a cardioid polar pattern and are similar in size. However, the Audio-Technica AT4053b Condenser Microphone is a slightly longer microphone that has a hypercardioid polar pattern, which is more focused than a cardioid pattern, but it can be used for the same types of applications as the ST2012 and KM 184. The ST2012 is well suited for a wide variety of studio recording purposes, including dialogue, instruments, and ambient audio.
