The full-featured, 3-channel mixer with reverb offers two combo XLR-1/4" inputs, a 1/4" aux input, a 3.5mm stereo input, and Bluetooth for streaming audio from up to 30' away. The onboard ToneMatch processing is designed to enhance vocals and instruments. The S1 Pro+ has built-in sensors, which detect multiple aiming positions, allowing for optimal sound in nearly any position including on a table, on the floor, mounted on a standard 35mm speaker stand, or used as a wedge monitor. The integrated lithium-ion battery allows you to power-up and play your Bose S1 Pro+ system for up to 11 hours at moderate volume levels and up to 5 hours at full volume for live performances.

I bought the Bose S1 Pro+ with the wireless instrument and mic transmitters to use with my portable Yamaha CK61 keyboard, which can run on 8 AA batteries, and a mic. No power cord, instrument cable or mic cable. So easy. And it sounds great. I jammed with friends on the front porch and it was just so simple. I want to try it on the beach! Service from B&H was great - easy checkout, good price, arrived on time.

Bose S1 Pro+ Wireless PA System Kit with Sennheiser Handheld Mic and Mic Transmitter. I generally skip writing reviews, but this is the fourth Bose product that I have owned and still own. The first being a Bose wave radio and CD player (circa mid 1990’s) that I inherited from my father 25 years ago and the other two being updated versions of that, they all work great. Concerning the Bose S1 Pro system. I belong to the local American Legion post and thus I was tasked to find and purchase a new high-quality all-in-one portable PA system with wireless capability, to replace the old and outdated one we had. We hold a Veteran of the Month event the first Saturday of each month, which is held indoors in the winter and outdoors during the warmer months. So, the system had to be able to be moved around by “Old Guys” and to both be used in a large conference hall and outside at the local Veteran memorial. I picked the Bose S1 Pro+ Wireless PA System Kit with Sennheiser Handheld Mic and Mic Transmitter, as it covered all the bases that we needed. Concerning some of the reviews that I read about this system: 1) yes, it does bleed off power when turned off and not being used. I lost about 16% of a full charge in 7 days. I realized a long time ago that batteries will lose charge and so this did not bother me, I just keep tabs on it and make sure I charge the unit before I use it. 2) The set up and use of the wireless feature and the microphone was beyond simple. It took me about 2 minutes of reading and looking at the controls and bingo everything worked right off the bat. 3) The quality of the sound that is produced is Bose top of the line. I really like the feature that allows me to place the unit behind the presenter and not get any feedback. With the old system, when we were inside and the PA. speaker unit was well in front of presenter and he decided to be dramatic with a loud voice, the sound would bounce off the walls and back into the speaker and thus feedback. We have no problems now and when outdoors and the wind is blowing; the sound is clear and strong. 4) The Bluetooth feature is top notch, as is the Bose App. I can stand back and out of the way and control the situation. 5) The battery life when the unit is turned on was just over 11 hours when the low battery light came on. As with all Bose systems I highly recommend this system. I have also used B&H for at least 20 years and have always been impressed by their service and by the items that I have purchased, so they are the first and only company I went looking to.

You can plug your audio mixer's main output straight into the S1 Pro+, yes. The best input to use for this would actually be the small headphone port (between "AUX" and the Bluetooth button). This will keep Input 1 and Input 2 free.

What are some compatible Wireless Headset Mics ...

What are some compatible Wireless Headset Mics that will work with the XLR Transmitter?

Any dynamic headset microphone, such as the Shure WH20 Headset Mic (B&H # SHWH20XLR) or the Audio-Technica PRO 8-HEX Dynamic Headworn Mic (B&H # AUPRO8HEX), is compatible for use with the XLR transmitter included with the Bose S1 Pro+ Wireless PA System Kit with Mic/Line and Instrument Transmitters. Since the Bose transmitter does not supply phantom power or plug-in power, it will not work with most condenser microphones, unless the mic has its own power source, such as a battery, to supply the voltage that a condenser microphone requires.

Are there any issues with pairing this version of the Bose S1 Pro + with the original version?

As the S1 Pro system uses the Bose Connect app and the S1 Pro+ system uses the Bose app, it's not possible to connect these two systems wirelessly. However, a cabled solution does exist; it would be possible to take a LINE OUT from one speaker and run this into the 3.5mm stereo input on the other speaker. This would keep Channels 1 and 2 completely free on the second speaker.

Can Bose S1 Pro+ interface with computer for Zoom or video transmission. What add'l equipment is needed?

When using the Bose S1 Pro+ Wireless PA System Kit with Sennheiser Handheld Mic and Mic Transmitter for this application, the wireless mic system would only work with the speaker directly. It will not work to transmit that audio to the other side of the Zoom call. Furthermore, you would need to use an audio interface to output the audio from the Zoom call to the Bose S1 Pro+ speaker, and to be able to connect an external microphone so that the microphone can be heard on the other side of the zoom call and the Bose S1 Pro+.
