The CT195 FreeBlazer Aluminum Video Tripod from SmallRig is a versatile and portable tripod with a removable center column that transforms the unit into an instant monopod. The SmallRig CT195 FreeBlazer Aluminum Video Tripod (B&H# SM4307) does offer damped movement in each direction. However, the exact method used to achieve that damping is not revealed by the manufacturer. Having said that, at this price level, it's common for any of a variety of methods to be used that would not generally meet most people's criteria to be considered a true fluid head, and yet this (and others) nevertheless do accomplish the objective of smoothing movement.
