I have two of these that I use with two A7RV bodies. Both work fine. Changing the batteries is a little tricky but not that hard. They are plastic and maybe not that durable but on the other hand they are much smaller and lighter than the alternatives if you are just looking for a remote shutter release without all the extra features.

Paired perfectly with my Sony 7RV. This Bluetooth remote is far more user friendly than the IR remote I retired. Put it anywhere, no need for line of sight. Half push activates focus, full fires shutter.
