How long will these battery last on an r5c?
Asked by: Nikolas
The run time of the Canon EOS R5 C Mirrorless Cinema Camera on the SmallRig VB99 Pro Mini V-Mount Battery will depend on your settings, usage, and the accessories attached. Generally, one would expect the battery to last about 2.5-3.5 hours under normal conditions. High quality resolutions and frame rates will reduce run times.

To use the 8v power out on VB99pro to smallhd 5inch bright monitor which cable can I safely use ending in a LPE6 dummy battery?
Asked by: JOHN
To properly power the SmallHD 5" monitor, you will need a D-Tap to Dummy LP-E6 battery. The 8V out on the SmallRig VB99 Pro Mini V-Mount Battery is not suitable for powering the screen.

With the SmallRig VB99 Pro Mini V-Mount battery, can the canon eos r5c be powered without a dummy battery?
Asked by: Alfonso
What I have often found with the USB - C, on many of these batteries (though not this one sppecifically), is that they don't put out 9V When I try to use them with my Sony FX3, via the USB-C in, the battery that stays in the camera loses charge faster than it should. I notice they rate the USB-C, in the specs here, as 100 watts. Why isn't it rated as Voltage out, like all the other outputs? It should specifically indicate "up to" 9 Volts out, if you are intending to use it to power an FX3. Sure it will power it, but not for much longer than an internal battery if the output voltage is only 5V. Keep this in mind. I learned the hard way with the original Momans.

Hello, what’s the low temperature protection limit ?
Asked by: Simon
SmallRig has not tested the operational low temperature limits of the SmallRig VB99 Pro Mini V-Mount Battery. Other similar batteries have a low temperature limit of -4°F or -20°C, so we would expect the SmallRig VB99 Pro Mini V-Mount Battery to preform similarly.

Can this power a Sony FX3 (via USB C) and a SmallHD Indie 5 (via DC 12V), so that the FX3 is not draining its internal battery?
Asked by: Zoltan
The SmallRig VB99 Pro Mini V-Mount Battery can power a Sony FX3 Full-Frame Cinema Camera over USB-C. You can also power the SmallHD INDIE 5 Touchscreen On-Camera Monitor using a cable like the SHAPE D-Tap to 2.1mm Barrel Power Cable BH #SHDT21PC.
