I use this to power a Shimbol M7 from a V mount battery. I was going to send the monitor back to Shimbol because it would not power up consistantly with a direct usbc connection to the barrel port at the monitor. After talking to Mark at BH Pro Video he recommended this Watson dummy battery and problem solved. Flawless, consistant power delivery every time. The Shimbol still has a problem at the barrel port but this is an excellent work around. The only very minor thing is the rubber used for the coiled cord could be softer. The coil is a little stiff but it doesn't affect the functionality.

I've paired it with my Pawa V-Mount batteries that have a USB-C port, and it works flawlessly and runs for a long time. Having the built-in voltage regulator is a plus for peace of mind and seems to do what it needs to, keeping things stable. The coiled cable is a good length without being too bulky. I personally like to keep things neat and tidy, so I prefer coiled cables for that purpose. This dummy battery has worked flawlessly for me and has come in handy.
